The edition, based on the New Schumann Complete Edition, contains all pieces from both versions in a compact format. Additions of phrasing etc. by Johannes Brahms and Clara Schumann in the appendix pieces have been highlighted. Michael Beiche competently provides an introductory text and is also responsible for the highly informative critical commentary. Tobias Koch's fingerings are based on his intensive study of Clara Schumann. His interpretive suggestions offer players valuable inspiration for their own engagement with the music.
